Goat worshipping nuclear metal scientists originally from Oulu who have proven more durable amidst all dark wars
and trend fluctuations than many of their counterparts in Norway and elsewhere. Annoyingly the band have frequently
taken the easy way out especially when it comes to song-writing, thus dissolving into little more than a cartoon with
no real punchline.
It is a shame because in Mika Luttinen they have a metaltastically mad frontman, the band logo (designed by one-time
member Taneli Jarva, also of Sentenced fame) is rather nifty and so forth. On the other hand, and despite their
revolving-door personnel politics, they are quite reliable in delivering the goods – if you insist on calling their black
thrash hardcore racket "the goods", that is.
The band's main songwriter, drummer Kimmo "Sir" Luttinen (Mika's younger brother) had a scuffle with Jarva
during the recording session of "Hamnasnas", a mini album that never saw the light of day, and consequently
both chaps parted ways with ImpNaz (interestingly the brawlers teamed up once more a couple of years later
under the Black League moniker).
The remaining members recruited more former members of Oulu deathsters Belial, and later on have also employed
capital area musicians from bands such as Children Of Bodom, Antidote and Finntroll.

Ironcross

Heavy metal messengers from Turku originally formed back in '76. After two pure heavy metal albums the band
opted for a more commercial approach and did some gigs in the States. Ironcross weren't destined for
great success and in '90 the band folded for good. These days vocalist Gona is a Jehovah's Witness
and would rather forget all about his heavy metal past.
